If you are new to the Christian faith or seriously seeking to understand what it means to be 'born again' check out this excellent and detailed series of sermons by John Piper.

Go here for the usual site access to Desiring God Ministries. You can hardly go wrong with material from this site!

Christian book shops are a very mixed bag these days. If you want books that are highly readable, true to Scripture and will build you up in faith, look for or ask for books by John Blanchard. Or search on Amazon - both the US and UK stores list a wide range of John's books. On the site look to see if John is speaking anywhere you can get to - he is always well worth hearing. (Sadly, Amazon is increasingly the best source for many Christian books. The book shops are stocking more and more of what is popular and not what is needed. You can also try ICM Books in the UK - a good source with very fair prices).
